2017 College Yearbook

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dr Peter Webster

I marvel at the quality of our students and their willingness to accept the challenge to make a difference in their world. Our students from Kindergarten to Year 12 are constantly invited to take risks with their learning, so that they can explore the challenges and possibilities. When our students start in Kindergarten they are presented with a Dr Seuss book – ‘Oh The Places You’ll Go’.

Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away!

Congratulations!

We ask that the students have their class teacher make a comment at the end of each year at St John XXIII.

The last page reads:

So … Be your name Buxbaum or Bixby or Bray Or Mordecai Ali Van Allen O’Shea,

You’re off to Great Places! Your mountain is waiting. So......get on your way!

Our Year 12 Graduands presented the College with a magnificent Dr Seuss print as their gift to the College. It is...... ’Kid, You’ll Move Mountains!” Our students, your children, are moving mountains!!! They are each ‘AWESOME’.

Thank you for choosing our Catholic Learning Community to educate your child.........

Together we can allow our next generation to be ‘AWESOME’.
